Jesse Riggs Niswanger (b. 2002) is a composer and writer based in Boston, Massachusetts, writing contemporary concert music in a pseudo-romantic neo-American style. Or neo-romantic pseudo-Americana. Really, that combination of words in any order. He writes for a variety of ensembles - chamber or symphonic - and a variety of settings, be it ballet or an installation piece.
